Home Sheep Home
Three sheep, three sizes, one way home. Aardman's Shaun the Sheep puzzle platformer, in both its Flash episodes.
Every Home Sheep Home game in order
Teamwork, the sheep way
In Home Sheep Home, Shaun, Shirley and Timmy have wandered off and need to get back to the farm before the farmer notices. Each sheep is a different size, and that is the puzzle: Shirley is heavy enough to push crates and hold down switches, Timmy fits through gaps the others cannot, and Shaun is in between. You switch between them and use one sheep as a step, a weight or a bridge for another, until all three reach the exit together.
The first game came out in 2010 and was made by Aardman, the British animation studio behind Shaun the Sheep. It was one of the most polished physics puzzle games on the web at the time, full of small animated jokes.
The order
- Home Sheep Home (2010)
- Home Sheep Home 2 (2011) – more levels, more physics objects and the same three sheep.
Tips
Before moving anyone, look at the whole level and ask which sheep must reach which spot. Shirley is usually the key: she can stand on switches, push blocks and act as a platform for the others. If a level seems impossible, try stacking – the small sheep can stand on the bigger ones.
FAQ
Who are the three sheep in Home Sheep Home?
Shaun, the medium-sized leader; Shirley, the big sheep who can push heavy things and squash anything; and little Timmy, who fits through the smallest gaps.
How do you switch sheep?
Use the number keys or click on a sheep to select it, then move it with the arrow keys. Most levels need all three sheep to work together.
Is Home Sheep Home good for kids?
Yes. It is a gentle, funny puzzle game with no violence, made by the studio behind Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep.
