Swords & Souls
Train hard, fight harder.

About Swords & Souls
Swords & Souls is a fantasy RPG with a twist: instead of gaining strength only by fighting, your hero gets stronger by training. You start by creating your character, then head to the training grounds, where each stat has its own mini-game – hitting targets, blocking incoming attacks, dodging and more. The better you play, the faster your hero improves.
Once you feel ready, you leave the village to fight. Battles are side-on duels against monsters, with your trained stats deciding how hard you hit and how much damage you take. Gold from victories buys weapons, armour and spells, and tougher regions and bosses wait further along the map.
It is a satisfying loop: every mini-game session makes the next fight easier, and every fight sends you back to train for the next challenge.
How to play
- Train in the mini-games to raise your stats.
- Fight quests and bosses on the map.
- Shop for equipment between fights.
The game uses the mouse and keyboard, depending on the mini-game.

Stuck? Hints, gentlest first
Hint 1 – train every stat
Attack, defence and agility all matter in fights. Rotate through the training mini-games instead of grinding only one.
Hint 2 – training scores matter
The better you do in a training mini-game, the more your stat improves. A few focused sessions beat many careless ones.
Hint 3 – gear up before bosses
Spend gold on better weapons and armour before attempting a boss. Retreating to train is never wasted time.
